Parsley (Petroselinum crispum)

Parsley is a species of flowering plant in the family of Apiaceae. The two Cultivars are Leaf Parsley and Root Parsley.

Native to the Mediterranean region and later naturalized in Europe. Pregnant women should monitor how much they eat or avoid it together due to the uterotonic effects it can cause. Great for Bees. Some Swallowtail Butterflies will use parsley as a host plant for their larvae. They will feed on your parsley for up to two weeks before blossoming into butterflies. 

Parsley is a good source of Vitamin A, C, K, Folate, Potassium, and Fiber. They also have great antioxidants like flavonoids myricetin and apigenin. Some studies have proven parsley to have benefits to bone health.
